This year's Branchentag Holz (Wood Industry Day), which was held on 2 and 3 November 2011, attracted more visitors than were registered at the last staging of the event in 2009.
According to the organiser Gesamtverband Deutscher Holzhandel (GD Holz) visitor numbers this year reached roughly 2,850.
The association reports that many visitors made their decision to participate in the event very early this year and there was a plus of 450 visitors registering online.
GD Holz expressed overall satisfaction with visitor response.
