Austrian manufacturer Holzindustrie Häupl GmbH declares banksruptcy after having collected 72.9 million euros in debt.
Over 100 employees will lose their jobs. Founded in 1860, the factory exported worldwide, with a turnover of 72 million euro and 200 employees operating in three shifts.
35% decrease in wood prices, the credit crisis caused the turnover to drop to 40 million last year.
