Whether homeowners, families with childrens, woodworkers, it is time for the "Wood day" in Deggendorf. The regional fair presents over 50 exhibitors on Friday 20 May, from 11 to 17 clock and on Saturday 21 May open from 10 to 18 clock. The entrance is free.
The fair will present all uses of wood as raw material: from forest management to wooden craft products. It will be also a route of the forest, carving demonstrations and tools for shapind wood. The visitors will be able to be informed about the various wooden buildings and heating methods. The children who like wood will have a special playground with over 3.000 wood blocks and different wooden games for sale, at reasonable prices.
