Anoribois and the actors from the wood industry propose 26 free demonstrations that will take place on the entire region Haute-Normandie and lots of occasions to discover wood values: visits in forest, open doors in companies, workshops, expositions….and a big "wood fair", on 15th of May, at Domaine d’Harcourt (between Brionne and Le Neubourg), with the General Counsel of Eure – guided walks in forests, lots of games on wood for children, demonstrations of woodworking, wooden constructions, painting expositions, using forest as a theme.
On the occasion of International Year of Forests, all these remind us that:
- wood is renewable, contemporary, ecological and effective
- wood and forests industry is dynamic and it creates lots of employments
- wood and paper consumption does not destroy it. Taking part in forest`s live is fighting against the greenhouse effect.
