EGGER presents at the Interzum in Cologne a whole host of new products and services under the motto “Think without limits”. Presented will be the decor highlights for the furniture industry as well as the new EGGER Truck which will be on a road show around Europe.
The appearance of EGGER at this years Interzum in Cologne, significantly shows how product, design and service performances and the new application orientated solutions are strengthening in focus.
“We are looking forward to returning to the exhibition in Cologne, after all we have not been at the Interzum since 1993”, said Ulrich Bühler, in the EGGER Group Management responsible for Marketing and Sales. The wood based materials manufacturer has been following the development of the Interzum very closely over the past years and considers the increasing international character of the exhibition as good. The decisive factor for the decision to return was the composition of the visitors. It was important for the full range supplier with various distribution channels, to be able to present itself to the industry in the same way as it presents itself to architects and specialist traders.
EGGER’s appearance in hall 6 (stand A070 and B071), occupies approximately 450 square meters and shows the complete product and service variety in application. The model for the exhibition stand is the EGGER administration building in Radauti (Romania), which consists of almost solely EGGER products. The sustainability of the building was confirmed by the DGNB gold certificate (German Society for Sustainable Building). The second highlight is the new EGGER Truck, which will be presented for the first time at the Interzum.
WITH SERVICES EGGER CONTRIBUTES TO BUSINESS SUCCESS
In regards to content the focus is clearly on service. “Of course we are and will stay a wood based materials manufacturer”, said Ulrich Bühler, who wants to convince customers further of the product quality and design variety, “but we recognise that we inspire our customers with innovative services, and can support them in there own processes.” For EGGER the optimisation of processes is becoming a more and more important topic along the entire added value chain. This is evident at the Interzum. Besides, the central point is the “digital solutions” which are consistently developed by EGGER. These cover decor idea and decor development as well as sampling, visualisation and production.
“We are growing more and more out of the classic role of a supplier and are developing ourselves into a partner for our customers, who wants to contribute to there business success in various ways”, explains Bühler. In this interaction with the customers, EGGER has also the best access to develop own products and services which are application and requirement orientated. “We are looking beyond our own developments and have in sight the benefits of our customers up to consumers. Therefore, we are placing our exhibition appearance in Cologne under the motto "Think without limits."
THE HIGHLIGHT DECORS ARE IN FOCUS
At the Interzum, EGGER will also present the highlight decors from the in-house exhibition EGGERZUM. The interest from the furniture industry was overwhelming, several dozen presentations were carried out, the favourites clearly emerged. The main topic “Authentic – design goes natural” found wide appeal, and EGGER will show which structures and decors will soon affect the furniture branch at the Interzum. |
