The volume of work in wood processing activities and wood products manufacturing in 2015 must exceed 1 billion rubles. This amount was provided in socio-economic development program for 2011-2015.
This act will be studied in the Republic parliament session in February 2011. Besides woodworking another indicator of the program of forestry industry development is the production of pulp and paper, the labour productivity per person and the profitability.
To reach this goal and indicators is necessary to develop and extend the forest resources, to increase the timber volumes and timber sale.
