In France, there are 300 000 workers that are exposed to wood dust, no matter they are working in sawmills, naval constructions or furniture factories.
Many diseases more or less severe, like pulmonary damages or skin irritations that can cause severe allergies are the result of wood processing.
The dust caused by the wood represents the second cause that provokes cancer, but the companies apply in a small measure some rules regarding these rules.
Thus, the purpose is to take into total consideration the risk that exists in provoking the disease. To measure the risk, there is included also the checking of recycling equipments.
Also, the action plan consists in the information and awareness of employees, the evaluation of risks and managing the equipments.
