In the last years awareness of environment and sustainable developmnent become more important issue even in building houses. Finally, people realized that we should satisfy our needs without destroying the future resources. Following this way of thinking, the "green house" concept was created. The goal of such a house is to harm the environment as less as possible, not only during the construction, but also by its maintenance.
Considering that for building a loghouse they use renewable raw materials and its energy saver ability this kind of houses will awill have an increasing role in the construction of "green house".
There are at least 7 reason for loghouses to deserve the "green" atribute:
1.They use completely renewable raw material.
2.There is the possibility to use also natural disaster hited wood, as those trees teared down by storm.
3.Compared to traditional building materials, processing of a log takes/needs less work.
4.The log walls don-t need other layers, as plaster, saving time and money for in behalf of the owner.
5.A loghouse needs less metal, wich would need a lot of energy to be produced.
6.A loghouse saves evenmore energy than a light structured house.
7.In case of demolition of a loghouse, most of the obtained material can be recicled.
