The wood crisis, which preceded the economical crisis, has done a lot worse in Quebec than in any other side of the Canada. Not less than 10 000 workers from Quebec have been directly affected by the sales that got down 4 times faster than the average of the rest of Canada.
Robert Bouchard and Pierre Paquette present the concrete propositions of the Quebecois Bloc to help the companies and the workers from the forest sector to overcome the crisis. This propositions which are needed in this industry for long time, come from the Committee Quebec-Ottawa on wood industry, which has to resent its report until 15 June. These measures must be implemented as soon as possible to get to the results they pursuit.
