In the Volgograd region`s forests have been illegally cut about 900 m3 of timber in one year. The damages due to violation of the forestry legislation from the Volgograd region have amounted, in 2008, 12 millions 951, 2 thousand roubles.
Only during one year, as a result of raids and checks of compliance with forestry legislation made by the men who rent the surface, the government inspectors have found more than 2.000 violations of which 1500 have already been resolved. Frequently, the inspectors were hit by cases of illegal cutting of already dry trees, of the trees spoiled by the wind and another cases.
However, were registered only 115 cases of illegal cutting of trees. In these situations, the quantity of cut wood was about 900 m3.
After inspections were carried out almost 1500 protocols based on executive violations, fines amount exceeding 1 million roubles. |
