| In 2009 the price of furniture is expected to remain constant. This is the result of the low demand of the market and because of the raise in value of the euro.
Dan Sucu, president of Mobexpert Group has declared that he intends to maintain the prices in Romanian currency, this year. He claims that a raise in the price of furniture could not be supported by the market. Even so, producers and retailers refuse to cut down on the prices even though this action might reduce their production.
Sucu added that he does not expect the price to raise in the next few months.
Specialists in this domain estimate that the market will remain constant in 2009, incomes will raise with 10%, but profits will be reduced.
In 2008, furniture production has gone up to 7&, which meant a raise from 1.89mld Euro ro 2.025 mld. Euro, according to APMR.
