The company DANTO CONSTRUCT S.R.L., created in 1994, dealing in the field of forest exploitation and wood processing, privately owned by a single shareholder, located in Tazlau, Neamt County, Romania, is holding the following assets:
A. THE TIMBER AND WOODEN PRODUCTS FACTORY
The factory spreads out on a surface of 134.000 m2 and consists in the following main units:
1. SAW MILL HALL, sized 50 m x 80 m, is the building where the logs are cut and it is equipped with the following machines:
a)LOG CUTTING MACHINE MODEL SIC 1600 PRIMULTINI Italy, year 2007, roller diameter 1600 mm, with ribbon blade, output 80 m3 per shift for hardwood (beech, oak, maple) or 100 m3 per shift for softwood (fir, spruce);
b) Hydraulic cartridge model CFI with 4 fixed grapping devices, PRIMULTINI Italy, year 2007, allows processing logs up to 8 m long;
c) Control panel PRIMULTINI, servo-drive electric centre, multifunctional manipulators;
d) Automation and mechanization line with mechanic discharge table, with helical rolls, motored table with strip rolls, system of collecting planks by sliding;
e) PENDULUM SAW LINE WITH EDGING MACHINE, MODEL KME 2 /750 PAUL, with one fixed blade and two mobile blades, 3 lasers for hardwood, Germany, year 2007
f) Preliminary circular saw (before edging), model STROMAB, Italy, year 2007;
g) CIRCULAR PENDULUM SAW, model STROMAB, Italy, production year 2007;
h) Multiple blades circular splitting saw with 1 shaft for softwood, production CML Ital, drive power 44 kW, approximate weight 10.000 kg, production year 2007.
i) Electronic sharpening machine for stellited blades, production ISELI, Italy, year 2007;
j) vertical saw mill, opening 1000 mm, made in BRNO Czechoslovakia, for cutting prismatic logs, cutting capacity 70 m3 per shift;
k) Vertical saw mill with the same characteristics, that takes over the prism cut by the first saw mill. These saw mills work in tandem.
2. MASSIVE WOOD PANELS HALL
Dimensions: 200 metres in length, 30 metres in width.
Production of massive hardwood and softwood panels for furniture, floor parquetry, wainscot, semi-finished products with the following machines:
a) Multiple blades circular saw with 8(eight) blades - manufactured in Germany in 2002;
b) 4 (four) pendulum type saws Hollyteck trade, manufactured in 2002;
c) Circular table for sorting elements;
d) Semi-automatic machine for finger jointing, DIMTER, Germany, length 6 m, year 2002;
e) Cold press 6000 mm x 1000 mm;
f) Hot press with diathermic oil 3000 mm x 1300 mm;
g) 4 sides processing machine Weinig, Germany;
h) Panel forming machine, production 2000;
i) Wood surfaces rectifier, production 2000;
j) Multiple boring machine with 27 ends, production 2004;
k) Packing machine (polyethylene wrapping).
3. BANDZIG HALL
Sizes 45 m x 35 m, with 2 production lines for thin timber
4. HALL FOR BEAMS FOR HOUSES
Sizes 38 m x 25 m
5. FINISHED PRODUCTS HALL
Sizes 30 m x 25 m
6. KILN DRYERS FOR WOOD, COPCAL TYPE
Production 2000, Italy, drying capacity 300 m3 per charge, computer assisted with drying programs for softwood, beech, oak, maple, cherry, etc.
7. WOOD STEAMING CHAMBER DE NARDI
Production 2007, Italy, capacity 32 m3 per charge, computer assisted, made of aluminium profiles.
8. THERMAL POWER STATION
Composed by 3 boilers of 1.600.000 kcal each, supplies the steaming chamber and the heating system. Fuels used: saw dust and splinters.
9. MECHANICAL WORKSHOP
Metal processing machines for all kinds of repairs in the factory.
10. ELECTRIC TRANSFORMERS
2 transformers of 600 kWh each.
11. GUARD AND FIRE FIGHTING
Includes the authorized fire fighting team, fire truck, the fire ring pipe surrounding the factory, hydrants, 3 water basins, 500 m3 each.
12. BLOCKS OF FLATS
For the working staff in the factory, there are 2 blocks of flats, with a total surface of 1000 m2.
13. HIGHLY TRAINED PERSONNEL, ENVIRONMENT PERMIT, FOREST EXPLOITATION CERTIFICATE
B. THE FOREST EXPLOITATION
For supplying the factory with wood (logs), the company owns a forest exploitation certificate for 40,000 cm/year. Based on this certificate the company participates in the auctions organized by the Regional Forest Directorate from which we buy parcels of forest for the working forestry. As a matter of fact, in the area where the factory is located, the competition doesn`t exist. The area of forest from where we can buy wood mass is approximately 26,000 hectars. The species of wood which can be worked out are: fir, spruce, beech, sycamore maple tree, oak, cherry tree, and so on.
For the working forest activity of these plots of land, the company is equipped with the following: - 8 (eight) forest trucks with which it can be pull out from the forest to the automotive road 400-500 cm for each forest truck/month. All the forest trucks are made in Romania adapted for the work conditions from here, manufactured at Truck Factory from Reghin between 199-2004. - 6 (six) mechanical saws, STILL and HUSQVARNA trade with which can be chopped approx 3000-4000 cm or trees/month, bought in the same period-1999-2004-all in good way of working. With these saws work 6(six) teams of workers - 4-6 workers/each team. These teams throw down the trees in the forest, cut the branches and, in this way, result the logs for the saw mill.
All this activity is coordinated by 2(two) experts with seniority of 25-30 years in this field and with specialization in this field.
All the personnel is qualified and with seniority in this field of many years.
For the fitting out of the roads in the plots of land, there are 2(two) bulldozer - S650 Romanian trade - in good way of working, manufactured in 1996 and 1994 which dig up roads for the forest truck.
The transportation of the logs from the worked plot of land to the factory is made with 4(four) trailers for logs transportation. Each trailer can bring 20 cm (cubic meter) at each ride. The distance of transportation is 7(seven) km up to 15(fifteen) km that represents a very big advantage because of the very fast intervention in case of damages of the plants which work in the forest and of the easy transportation of the workers until the work place. Another advantage is the fact that the other factories from the area are situated at a distance of 50 km up to 100 km from us which makes the transportation very expensive for they.
This is the reason for which we do not have a competition in this area. All the machines are drived by professionals drivers who know to work very hard conditions like in summer and autumn. The wage of a driver is about 200 - 300 USD/month, depending on the quantity of logs transported. The cars are manufactured between 1996-2000 in good way of working.
The transported wood from the forest arrives in a warehouse of logs endowed with a crane which unloads the trailers. The unloaded logs are truncated at a length of 4 m with 2(two) mechanical saws ant then are picked on diameters and stored in the logs store.
The manipulation of the logs in this store is made with 2(two) frontal loaders of Romanian manufacture with a raising capacity of 5(five) tones, completed auto overhauled, year of manufacture 1994-1996.
In this warehouse the logs are picked for saw mill , for fire wood and other utilisations. An horizontal sawmill chops the logs with the diameter between 1000 mm and 1500 mm,
Also, here there is a slitting plant of the fire wood for its transportation in smaller pieces for fire.
